Glide is designed as a chemical-free and water-based lubricant, with the purpose of making intimate experiences smoother. You can use it on any part of the body you want (internal or external), but we don’t recommend ingesting it.
You can apply Glide water-based lube by pumping a little onto your palm, and applying to the desired part of your body. Alternatively, you can pump Glide directly from the bottle onto your desired body parts. Use as much or as little as you like, depending on your personal preferences.
There’s no set rule here - it really depends on you. We recommend using a few dallops to properly allow for some slip and slide. And keep replenishing as you work through your motions.
Water-based lubricants are great for many reasons. They don't stain your sheets, are compatible and safe to use with latex and silicone products (like toys and menstrual cups). Typically, water-based lubricants are also less sticky and dry easier, since there are fewer chemicals in them. However, it should be noted that water-based lubes do get absorbed more quickly, so you may require a larger quantity. We always say, the more the better!
