What is MyMuse?

Well, in the simplest terms, we're a direct to consumer wellness and lifestyle brand that wants to change the product experience in India. We're a homegrown company that champions quality without compromise, the power of community, and the importance of fighting for what you believe in. That's why we're reimagining the bedroom experience - it's a part of life thats too often overlooked, and we know people are ready for something different. We're here to be your support, your go-to, and your Muse; for your bedroom needs and beyond.

What are bedroom essentials?

'Bedroom Essentials' is our way of saying these are your must-have items for the ultimate bedroom experience. At its core, the bedroom is a sacred space- a private oasis, built as a refuge from the chaos of the outside world. It's your space for those private moments alone or with whoever you choose to spend your time with. Our products are designed to be the ideal addition to your bedroom - unobtrusive, but enhancing. Products designed carefully and thoughtfully, to bring a little magic, pleasure and connection to your everyday life.

What is Musings?

Musings is an extension of our brand, where we house our original content. Currently, Musings takes the form of both a Newletter and a Blog. It's where we talk about life, love, relationships, sex, and more in a real and relatable way. It's a community of people - just like you and me - who want to engage in conversations around issues that are otherwise ignored in our society. So join us. You're always welcome.

Shipping and Orders

Is shipping really free?

Yes. We don't believe in showing you one price and charging you another - its 21st century and shipping should and will always be free (atleast here at MyMuse).

How long before my order ships?

We try to send shipments out as soon as possible cause we know what it's like waiting for that package to arrive. In most cases, your order ships one or two days after you place it. However, if we're really jammed, it may take a few days. Once your order has shipped, our delivery partners usually reach out to you.

How long does delivery usually take?

We work with well-reputed delivery partners, so delivery usually happens within 5-7 days after shipment, depending on your location. Metro cities tend to take less time, whereas more remote locations may take longer. We do our best to reduce delivery times where possible, and follow up on each order periodically.

Does MyMuse deliver to my zipcode?

We work with multiple delivery partners to allow us to reach as many zip codes in India as possible. If we can't service your zipcode, we'll let you know and try to find a way around.

Will my products be delivered discreetly?

Yes, absolutely! We understand that privacy can be a concern, so we’ve made the MyMuse buying experience as discreet and seamless as possible. When placing an order through our website, all transactions will be displayed as “MyMuse India Private Limited” in your emails and bank account statements. All packages are shipped in plain corrugated boxes with minimal MyMuse branding on the outside. Still, we'd recommend ordering to an address where you're able to receive the package yourself, to avoid unwanted interceptions. If you have any other special considerations or requests re: shipping, please send us an email, and we’ll do our best to help you out. Mum's the word.

How will I know when my order has been placed?

We'll shoot you an email confirmation, which will be your receipt. If you don't have email, you'll receive a text when our shipping partner picks up your items. If payment has been deducted from your account and you don't hear from us, reach out and we'll help you out.

Where is my order? How do I track it?

Once you have your order tracking number, you can use our Track Order page to check on the status. If that doesn't scratch your itch, reach out and we'll see if we can help you out. 

Where is my tracking number and how do I find it?

Your tracking number will be assigned to you once we've processed and shipped your order. You should receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. If you can't find it, you can also sign into your account and check your previous orders tab. If you're still having trouble, reach out and we'll help you out!

Will all my packages come separately?

We do our best to ship all your items together, so that it’s convenient and environmentally friendly too. But sometimes certain products aren’t immediately available, in which case we may send them separately. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on all the details of your shipment.

What are the forms of payment you take?

We take most forms of digital payment, including all types of credit & debit cards (i.e. Visa, Mastercard, Amex), most wallets & UPI (i.e. Paytm, Google Pay etc.), and net banking. We're always working on adding more forms of payment (hello crypto)!

Is COD an option?

Nope, we currently do not offer COD. Adding a COD option becomes expensive for brands, and they tend to pass this cost onto their customers. We believe in a seamless, non-complicated buying experience.

Is there a way I can change my shipping address last minute?

Made a mistake on your shipping address? Fear not - reach out to us at the email address below and we'll see what we can do. The sooner you reach out, the easier it will be to change the address, especially if it hasn't left MyMuse HQ.

Returns and (X)changes

Can I cancel my order?

Usually you can cancel your order within 24 hours by reaching out to us. However, we try to ship our orders out as soon as possible, so once your order has been shipped we won't be able to process any cancellations.

What’s your return policy?

Unfortunately, given the personal nature of our products, we cannot accept the return of items that have been opened, part-consumed, or used. We are able to accept returns or offer refunds in the certain circumstances - you can check out our Returns page for more info. Make sure you reach out within 48 hours of receiving your products!

What if my order is defective or damaged?

Firstly, If you've received a damaged or defective product, then we're sorry! We work really hard on quality control and this may have slipped through the cracks. If you reach out to us within 48 hours of receipt and show us how the product is damaged/defective, we'd be happy to help you replace it. Check out the Returns page for more info.

I don't think this product is for me. Can I get a refund?

How sad! We're sorry the product isn't what you expected. As long as you haven't opened it, reach out to us within 48 hours and we'd be happy to initiate a refund. Check out the Returns page for more info.

When Can i expect my refund?

Please allow up to 15 days from the day we receive the returned item for the refund to be received into your account. The length of time for the refund is also dependent on bank processing times.

How does your exchange policy work?

If you wish to exchange an unopened and unused product, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt and we’ll be happy to help you.

Safety And Sensibilities

Are these products safe?

Yes, our products are safe. Our team has tried and tested each product rigorously, and we have a robust beta-testing program in place too. Made in reputable factories, our products have also been registered / certified, where necessary. That being said, every body is different - so if you have sensitive skin or have any averse reaction, please stop using immediately and consult a doctor.

What if I have an allergic reaction?

If you face any discomfort or irritation, discontinue use of the product immediately. If you have an adverse or allergic reaction, consult your doctor. Those with sensitive skin are advised to do a patch test beforehand.

Where are your products made?

We've looked far and wide to bring you the best stuff to use on your body. We're proud to champion Indian manufacturing where possible, and hope to one day be fully Make in India. For now though, the highest quality stuff (especially in our little niche) is made for the world in places like China. 

Are your products organic?

Yes, most of our products are made with organic ingredients - we generally try to stay away from the nasty stuff. Take a look through the individual product pages for a detailed description of whats inside.

Do you use chemicals in your products? If so, are they harmful?

While most products are chemical free, compounds are used in Glide to get the right viscosity. These are completely safe, and do not make Glide any less natural. In fact, Glide is free of most other harmful chemicals often found in competing products (e.g. parabens)

Are your products vegan?

Yes, our products are vegan friendly.

What if I accidentally consume (eat) one of your products?

Unless you consume a large amount, there should be no major side-effects from ingesting any of our products, other than (maybe) a loose stomach. That being said, try snacking on something else instead. If you have any adverse or allergic reactions, please consult your doctor immediately.

How long do your products last? Do they have an expiry date?

Since all our products are made with natural ingredients (and no preservatives), we suggest using them soon after opening. The individual product shelf lives are available on the product pages.
