What is the MyMuse Flick, and does it vibrate?

It does not, and that one sentence is why this page was rebuilt: an earlier version read like a manual for a different device. MyMuse calls Flick India's first tongue massager. A flexible silicone tongue sits at the tip and moves back and forth through 10 speeds and patterns, rather than buzzing.

The difference shows up in the reviews more clearly than in any spec sheet. "You know how no one likes the different patterns that vibrators vibrate in? But they really work here, its like not vibrating but a moving tongue, which is moving in patterns", one four-star reviewer writes.

Flick is not compatible with the MyMuse Sync app, so there is nothing to pair or log into.

How do I use Flick for the first time?

1. Give it a full charge first. Around an hour on the cable, which is covered further down.
2. Wash it with water and soap, then towel it dry. Before the first session and after every one after that.
3. Press and hold the power button for three seconds. That wakes Flick up; it does not start flicking yet.
4. Press the power button again to start the tongue moving. This second press is the step people miss.
5. Use water-based lubricant. "Initially I tried it without the lube, experience was too intense", one verified reviewer notes. Glide at ₹699 does the job.
6. Rest the tongue gently against the spot you want. Pressing harder does not make it work better; the angle does.
7. Press again to move up an intensity, and hold the button three seconds to switch off at the end.

What do the 10 speeds and patterns feel like?

MyMuse publishes a count, not a map: 10 unique speeds and patterns, cycled with the same button that switches Flick on. Some hold a steady rhythm, some vary it. A slow-motion count of each has been asked of the team; no page lists them today, and this one will not invent a list. How do I charge Flick, and how do I know it is full?

1. Seat the cable properly. The pin end goes into the round port on the body, pushed the whole way in. Silicone wraps the contact, so expect resistance; twist the plug until it bites. One reviewer "had a hard time fitting the charging plug into the massager".
2. Use a laptop or desktop USB port at the other end.
3. Watch the light. A flashing light means the battery is filling. When the flashing stops, Flick is full. An hour is the published figure.
4. Take it off the cable to use it. MyMuse massagers do not operate while charging, so nothing happening on the cable is expected behaviour.

Is Flick loud?

The product page gives one number and sticks to it: 55 dB at maximum. Put that beside the NIH hearing institute's scale, where normal conversation sits at 60 to 70 dBA, and Flick is quieter than the two of you talking. How do I clean the silicone tongue?

Switch it off, wash with water and soap, dry with a towel, and put it away in its travel pouch only once it is properly dry. Nothing containing alcohol, petrol or acetone should touch the silicone.

The tongue tip needs the extra half-minute. NHS sexual health guidance is specific about it: clean before and after each use, paying special attention to areas where two materials or parts meet. Start with the obvious three. Hold the button a full three seconds rather than tapping it. Remember the second press, since a woken Flick that is not flicking is often just waiting for it. Take it off the charger, because it will not run while plugged in.
