What payment methods does MyMuse accept?

Most forms of digital payment, in the FAQ's own phrasing, with gift cards issued by MyMuse added as a method in their own right by the terms of service. Payments are processed by PayU; the checkout page you land on is run by Shopflo, which matters for one thing only, covered further down.

Is cash on delivery available on MyMuse?

Yes. You choose it during checkout, and the FAQ is upfront that it costs a little extra and that these orders take longer to process than prepaid ones. The shipping page files COD alongside gift wrapping as a service carried at a minor additional cost, and the amount appears at checkout before you confirm.

There are limits. Support serves most pin codes across India, but COD will not appear as an option on a larger cart, on an order with several items, or at a pin code its courier partner does not reach. Free express shipping, for what it is worth, is promised on prepaid orders specifically.

Why did MyMuse call me, and why was my COD order cancelled?

Because every COD order is confirmed by a human before it ships. Support's own wording: "Since this was a Cash on Delivery (COD) order, we follow a mandatory verification process before dispatch. Unfortunately, the order could not be verified during the confirmation call, which resulted in it being automatically cancelled."

So the call is not optional and missing it has a cost. An order cancelled this way is not recoverable; the fix is to place it again and answer the phone. If you would rather skip the whole dance, pay upfront and the order goes straight into preparation.

Can I pay for MyMuse in EMI?

Through Snapmint, yes, chosen at the payment step. Snapmint is a third-party EMI partner, and support is blunt about where the relationship sits: the amount you pay at checkout is your first instalment, the rest splits into 3 or 6 months depending on what you picked, and Snapmint sends the reminders and handles the deduction dates. Questions about your schedule go to Snapmint's own support team, not to MyMuse.

One warning, because the internet disagrees with itself here. A search result for Snapmint's MyMuse store page describes four interest-free monthly instalments, while MyMuse's own support text says 3 or 6 months. Read the Snapmint screen at checkout before you confirm.

Whoever you borrow from, you are owed disclosure. The Reserve Bank of India's note on implementing the digital lending working group's recommendations says the all-inclusive cost of a digital loan, as an Annual Percentage Rate, must be disclosed to the borrower, and that a cooling-off period must be offered during which you can exit by paying the principal and the proportionate APR with no penalty.

How do I use a MyMuse gift card at checkout?

Carefully, because there are two boxes and only one of them works. Support's instruction, word for word on the part that matters: go to checkout, where you are redirected to the Shopflo checkout page, scroll down to find the "Use MyMuse Giftcard" option, click it, enter your gift card details and continue. Do not use it on the cart page under "Enter coupon code", which is the commonest reason a card looks like it has failed.

The card itself is simple. It arrives by email, it is redeemable for anything and everything on mymuse.in, and it never expires, which the product page states in those words. Five values are listed there, and you can set a delivery date and time using the "Schedule Gift Card" link in the order confirmation email.

One rule to know before gifting: if a product bought with a gift card is returned, there is no money back. The replacement is either another product or a re-issued card of the same value, in line with the product's warranty.

What will my bank statement say?

The FAQ answers this directly: "all transactions will be displayed as 'MyMuse India Private Limited' in your emails and bank account statements".

Being straight with you, though: that wording has not been tested against a real card, UPI and net-banking statement, and descriptors can read differently from one bank app to another. How long does a refund take?

The refund policy asks you to allow up to 15 days from the day a refund is approved. COD orders run slower by design: those refunds go to a bank account rather than back down a card rail, they are processed manually in bulk rather than one by one, and support asks for 10 to 15 business days. Refusing a parcel at the door works too, with the refund raised once it is back at the warehouse, less a small courier fee.
